Who is Retinoblastoma Solutions?
Retinoblastoma Solutions is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to advancing health care through molecular
diagnostic tests. Retinoblastoma Solutions performs molecular tests for genetic mutations that lead to
retinoblastoma, and conducts research to increase the power, and reduce the cost, of the tests it provides.
Charitable donations to Retinoblastoma Solutions allow us to extend testing to families that otherwise cannot afford it. Please
consider donating online simply by clicking this link to CanadaHelps, an innovative agency that collects donations and issues
charitable receipts:

What does Retinoblastoma Solutions do?
Retinoblastoma Solutions performs molecular diagnostic tests for retinoblastoma families from across
Canada and the United States and from several countries overseas. The tests improve the health of entire families by:
- identifying members of a family who share a disease-causing mutation,
- focusing treatment on persons susceptible to the disease and,
- eliminating relatives from treatment who are not susceptible.
Our lab is inspected and approved for molecular diagnostic tests by the College of American Pathologists, and registered
with the US Department of Health and Human Services under CLIA-88 legislation (CLIA Registration Number 99D990947).

Retinoblastoma Solutions was the winner of the 2005 CPEX (Canadian Project Excellence) Social Impact Award.
